Want to get involved in TrustTheVote?

We’ve got a range of roles including developing TTV work product, reviewing the work, or coordinating, planning, endorsing, and helping get the word out about TrustTheVote and our mission.

If you’re interested in helping out, get started now by filling out our Join Us contact form so that we can get in touch and discuss your areas of interest and potential contributions. There are several ways to get involved:

Join the developer community

Join the outreach team

Donate needed services

Provide financial support – Learn more about making donations >>

Regardless of whether you’re able to contribute in any of these ways, you can Join Us as a TrustTheVote community member and choose from a variety of ways to stay in touch and track our progress.

Here is a partial list of work we’re looking for hands to help with:

Developer Community

You can contribute to the developer community as a developer, author, or reviewer of any of several types of work product being developed: specifications, software, systems, use cases, guidelines, experiments, and more. The activities in OSDV’s Labs involve a variety of types of expertise and activities: specification, analysis, software development, system engineering, user experience and interface engineering, security and privacy, database engineering, OS internals and system build, and more. Check out our Wiki to see what the community is working on right now.

Outreach Team

You can contribute to the outreach team as event manager or outreach co-ordinator, or help with blogging, placement, and other communications tasks, or help with “Trust the Vote”, our cause on Facebook causes. If you have specific tasks you’d like to take on, please indicate that when you sign up for the team. Additionally, stay in touch with our efforts via our Facebook fan page for OSDV or subscribe to our Twitter feed at @osdv.

Services Needed

You can contribute some much needed services such as web site management, graphics design, and legal. If you’re interested, and expect that we could use your services, you’re probably right! You can read more about Service Contribution Opportunities, or Contact Us so that we can discuss your interests and how you might be able to contribute.

If you’re not sure, of just want to learn more informally, please Contact Us!
